This week, I went on 2 half-mile jogs. And one 20 minute power walk (I was too sore to jog)
I’ve also begun eating oatmeal everyday, since I heard it helps in losing weight?
My weight is still the same. Staying between 138-139. I’m staying within 1200 calories and doing about 40 minutes of exercise and cardio. It’s not good enough though. I’m still not able to lose pounds. Either I’m not eating well enough, or exercising hard enough. It’s just hard to whip my body into shape to where I’m able to push myself harder.
I’ve been doing 10 minutes of cardio a night since I started 2 weeks ago. Last night I did a little over 20. But I want to start working out for at least an hour a night so I can burn more calories at a time.
What do you guys do? What does your daily workout look like? How long do you do it? I want something a little more challenging. I need my body to be able to do more than 20 minutes of exercising at a time. And I want to shed pounds off faster.
Even some good youtube videos that I can workout with helps too. That’s where I’ve gotten a few of my workouts from.

I know it’s not much, but I feel so happy! I’m no longer in the 140’s. It took me a week & a half to lose it, but I think this will help me work harder because when I was at 140 and hadn’t seen any improvement, I felt myself starting to slack. But now I’m 139, and now that I’ve lost a pound, I now believe that I can get to my goal weight.
Plus, for a week now, I’ve been doing really good at keeping my food intake at 1200 calories, or less. I haven’t felt as hungry or felt the need to eat out of boredom lately, which is why sometimes I’d eat less than 1200.
Also, I’ve made a MyFitnessPal account (itsmythinsporation - if you want to add me) and I think that helps me a lot too. It tells me how many calories I have left to eat, and when I see that I’ve went over or I’m getting close, I cut myself off. And when I can’t update it right away, I write down what I’ve ate and my servings and the brand of products I’ve ate. All of this is really helpful.
When I came back from my 2 month vacation, I realized that I’d gained 10 pounds. Even when my mom first seen me, she noticed that I gained weight. I felt bloated all the time because anything that I ate made me feel that way. I think I was just always full because I overate. I looked in the mirror this morning, and my tummy just looked different then when I came back 2 weeks ago. Definitely not slim, but it looks like it’s on its way.
I’m happy about this. :)
It’s my update day. I’ll take another 3 pictures to post along with my current weight. I’m sure nothing’s changed though. Only the past couple days I’ve really watched my calorie intake. I don’t feel as bloated as I did last week, so that’s a good thing. I just can’t wait to start shedding off the pounds. I want to do Cardio but my calves just ache from exercising on Sunday night. :(
Are there any specific exercises you can do to lose belly fat without building muscle underneath?
My body was sore yesterday from my previous workout, instead of resting, I worked out again. My body aches everywhere. I’m so out of shape. I’m going to rest today and workout every other day until my body can handle an everyday workout.
